RAM
Now that I work in center city, Man and I have taken to commuting to work together. It's a rather enjoyable way of starting (and planning) our day together.
Case in point, this morning's conversation:
Me: Have the new kitchen sheers shipped?
Man: [checking phone] No? Maybe? Wait. Amazon says yes.
Me: Good. It probably arrived yesterday at your work while you were out.
Man: True.
Me: Anyway, I'll let you know when we're done with the photo shoot tonight. We should be able to coordinate with you doing the laundry so the car is free for me to drive her home.
Man: I don't know how you keep all these things in running memory. It's like you're running on 16 gigs and I only have 2.
Me: Hmm. Maybe it's because I've been doing puzzles since I was little? They're supposed to keep you sharp.
Man: Are you saying I'm not sharp?
Me: No.. I'm just agreeing with you that you're running on 2MB and I'm on 16GB. Well 256MB, to be computerly correct.
Man: Yea, 256 might be right. My system only needs to handle one thing at a time. And doesn't run Photoshop: "Do you like this pattern?" "Does not compute... Kernel panic..."
Today definitely started on the right foot.
