excitement!

It's Excitement Central in my neck of the woods.  As of yesterday afternoon I have now confirmed the two more endeavors on my list of Great Big Things this year.  I am trying to enjoy the anticipation, but I cannot wait to hit these milestones!  Especially the last one ;)

In 2 months...
...I will officially be a Master of something or other.  After twenty three consecutive years of schooling, I am finally saying good-bye to the classroom.  For now at least.  I am definitely saying adieu to the idea of working and schooling at the same time!

In 5 months...
...I will be done with the wedding.  I cannot wait until it's over folks.  I love the scheming and building of a celebration, but in the honest reality, I'm planning and coordinating two rather disjoint events.  Adding this on top of class and work...well, all I can say is: I'm ready for a vacation!  (And to be married instead of wedding-planning!)

In 6 months...
...Speaking of vacations, Hon and I have officially bought our plane tickets!  It took a fair amount of scheduling and research.  After the a runaround attempt to prove our students status, we have finally gotten the go ahead.  So, what I really meant to say was:

En six mois...
...Hon et moi allons prendre l'avion pour notre voyage de noces.  Pendant deux semaines, je me trouverai parmi les bâtiments blanches avec leurs toits gris   Le matin, je prendrai un café et une pain au chocolat.  Je pourrai me perdre dans les nombreuses salles de nombreuses museés.  Le soir, quand j'ai envie, je boirai du vin et du Perrier (et du Volvic!).   Ouais, en six mois, je serai à Paris.

Ah, Paris, tu me manques... mais ça va changer bientôt!  And, yes, I definitely need to brush up on my French!  Yikes.
