Shoes. Again.
The shoe saga continued. Remember how it took me 6 weeks to buy three pairs and finally decide on one pair for me. And how it took 4 weeks to pick one pair for the girls. And then I found out that they were sold out of the size needed by the maid of honor. More drama. (On my part.). Then we picked another color in the same shoe. Which matched better anyway.
Well, the fat lady didn't even get on stage until this week. See, this week? This week, they ran out of sizes in the new color. Three of the four girls had already bought their shoes when suddenly...there was a shortage.
Stress. Random researching. Debates on whether a smaller size or larger size would work. We finally decide she should order a half size up. It'll just have to do, I remember thinking, at least with some cotton in the toes it shouldn't be uncomfortable.
Lo and behold, my plans turned out far less creative than God's. When she went back to order, her size was available once again.
Yet again, I'm humbled by how God faithfully provides, even in my most shallow of needs.
