Today begins the Audience Participation portion of December's posts. I will showcase one guest book idea each day (excepting this one they'll post at oh-nine-hundred hours), and you (yes you!) will get to weigh in on the decision for our ultimate choice. Before you begin, the usual disclaimers apply: these are posted in no particular order, all standard postage rates apply, no animals have been harmed in the making of these designs, etc.
Ready? Here goes....
Idea #1 - Jigsaw Puzzle
- Cost: $150-$500 personalized. $25-50 if store bought
- The Basics: You have a disassembled puzzle on the table where guests can sign the back of the puzzle pieces. You can either use a regular puzzle or you can customize one with your picture and with the material: wood or cardboard
- The Benefits: As an avid puzzler, this sounds like fun.
- Questions: Do you keep it undone so you can go solve it and read the pieces every once in a while? Or, do you finish it, glue it and mount it in a frame? Do we get it printed with a photo of us on it? Or do we just buy a fun puzzle and claim it for our own?
- Extras: They can come with some pretty hilarious piece shapes:

plain wood jig saw puzzle pieces kept in mason jars that decorate your apartment. you could put it together on your first anniversary! would sure beat year old cake.
ReplyDeleteI think this is my favorite out of the three. Also because I am an avid puzzler myself (and I would probably join you guys in building it if it wasn't something meant for the two of you--i think you know what this means: PUZZLE DOUBLE DATE!)
ReplyDeleteAnyways, love these guest book ideas. So thoughtful and creative!

I think a puzzle would last longer. And your cute kids (who won't be comparable to my cute kids) could put the puzzle together later too --> bonding time with mommy and daddy and stirring brain juices. :)
