Day 3 of Audience Participation à la December. Today I am focusing on the penultimate guest book idea! I find your input on such matters salubrious (yea, I had to look that one up, too) and your witty repartee invigorating. Seriously. My life is unhealthily dull without you.
Idea #3 - Paper Planes
Idea #3 - Paper Planes
- The Cost: $20? for paper + $5 string + $15 for pins/clips.
- The Basics: rectangles of paper will be set on the table alongside pens, crayons and markers. Guest will be able to write a letter, tell a story or otherwise decorate the paper then fold it up into a paper plane. These can either be attached to a string and become decoration or they can be kept and thrown at us at some point (yikes!)
- The Benefits: It's fun, whimsical and yet again allows for crayon doodling.
- The Questions: Does this sound dangerous to anyone else? "The wedding was beautiful until a paper plane stabbed the bride in the eye.." And where would you store them?
- Extras: Hon and I would have a blast reading through theses later. Undoubtedly, a paper plane flight would ensue.
So far I like the puzzle the best. It seems the most durable and most open for multiple uses. You could take chunks of the puzzle and repurpose them (coasters anyone?). The airplanes are cute once but they can easily get lost or ruined.
ReplyDeleteHow many options are there? I feel like I'm mentally holding my vote till I know my choices...
