Guest Book part 2 - Cards

Day 2 of  the Audience Participation portion of December's posts.  Remember, I am highlighting one guest book idea each day to get your (yes your!) opinion on the matter. Shall we continue...?



Idea # 2 - Signable cards

• Cost: $20 for the pdf + printing costs + $50 for the container.
• The Basics: The cards vary--they can request that guests write advice, draw pictures, or share a memory, etc.  They are set out on a table along side crayons, markers and fun pens.  Stickers are possible.
• The Benefits: This definitely offers the option of incorporating drawing and doodling with crayons (and/or amazing pens) into the wedding.  It's also easily storable.
• Questions: Will people take the time to draw something if it's not at their tables?  Part of the draw of the white butcher paper is that it gives them something to do during the inevitable wait times.  Will we have enough writing utensils if they did want to take it to their table to have more time to write and/or draw?
• Extras: Not only do you get fun cards with all sorts of contributions, but you can also find cool things to store them in.  Take this one, for instance:
